As of Saturday, Simon is officially one year old. This means a lot of things, but most importantly for readers of this blog, it means all his pictures on Flickr will be marked as “Friends & Family only”. I know it’s a pain in the ass to register with Flickr and then ask us to set you up as our friend and/or family, but there are too many strange people on the Internet, and we’re a little paranoid. Not as paranoid as my mom (hi mom!), but paranoid enough.
Unfortunately that also means that the pictures up top will not show Simon pictures that we’ve taken. I’ll have to investigate and see if there’s anything I can do about that.
Pat the pictures of Simon’s 1st Birthday are great! I am not sure which of you is taking all (the entire 1000 or so pictures you have in Flickr) the pictures I will assume that it is both you and Kate, but they are always framed so well and seem so professional. You have a very cute family. Thanks for letting me view them as they cheer me up, esp Simon when he smiles. I really like that turtle picture. Hope all is well with you and your family.
Like I said on Kate’s blog… I can’t believe Simon is already a year old! I totally am with you on the ‘friends/family’ thing. It’s kind of like meeting a stranger and telling them your whole life story as soon as you meet them. I like to save that for later once I know the person 🙂
Thanks for the compliments Ginger. We try our best, but we’re still rank amatuers when compared to the likes of Lou Ann and Shannon. 🙂
Hope all is well with Abby and the new job!
The sad truth is that:
a.) Somebody looking for ransom for you would be sorely disappointed.
b.) You’re just not cute enough to want to abduct, despite what your harram may tell you. Sorry!
The only people who want you are your decidedly non-deadly family.
What about pictures of ME? What about MURRAY’s protection from deadly internet stalkers who would love to ruin my life or capture me for ransom or something. You never thought about your own BRO, did you??? punk.
Um, I just opened a bunch of shots of Simon without being signed in to Flickr. Hmmm……
Thanks, too, for the compliment … but you really do take great photos! 🙂
