This book is part of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere World. If you are going to ever read it, know that you will need to read Warbreaker, the First book of the Stormlight Archive (The Way Of Kings), and the second Stormlight Archive book (Words Of Radiance). And you should also probably read both Mistborn Eras 1 and 2, and Elantris.

By far my favorite thing about this novella was the main character, Lift: the stubborn, quirky, determined girl the story follows. I thought this novella really highlighted the differences between the different orders of the knights radiant, and the types of spren that made them. For example, each order must say some oaths that are the same, and some that are different. I overall loved this book and can’t wait to see Lift in Oathbringer.
