Okay, Lucy, it’s not a competition, but I want you to know that Mary rolled over by week 18. I’m just sayin’. We have you sitting in a high chair now (with some support), and you’re doing great with the tummy time, but as for rolling over you say “pffftt.” Maybe next week!

Happy it's Spring!

Lucy, Week 19 marked the first time that I have taken a picture of the week photo with a point-and-shoot. Because I was desperate, busy, and lazy. All things considered, I’m pretty happy with it. but I’m even happier with this self-portrait. But since it’s the Lucy Weekly Picture, I decided to leave my ugly mug out of it and went with this one of my Big Girl. Today was awesome, because you were SO SMILEY AND HAPPY with me. I seemed to just tickle your fancy that way. Hopefully I’ll be doing the same thing when you’re older.

Big Girl!

Lucy, Week 18 marked your first trip up to NY. You were a trooper for the ride up, and did really well – very little crying. However, the evil Staten Island traffic monster caught us on the way back, and you did not like that ONE BIT. There were quite a few tears and a couple of frustrated parents in the front of the van. But we made it back safe and sound, so no harm done!

Momma Said Knock You Out!

Lucy, you don’t spend too much time fussing like this. While you’ve had your moments (usually late at night when I have an important meeting the next day), they’re not too prolonged or frequent. I liked this photo because of the carefree attitude your mother is showing while you are clearly VERY UNHAPPY. And the “Mommy’s Little Sunshine” bib is really just the cherry on top!

Ironic
