  1. Hi Pat! I was talking to Jason about your Book Queues idea and he led me to http://www.allconsuming.net – perhaps this is what you were thinking/looking for?

Also I would tend to agree with you on the Girl Scout Cookies. 🙂

  2. I have to side with Kate on this. Those Tagalongs sure are **tasty** but I think they are even more tasty simply because I can only get them once a year.

It always seems like I rediscover them every year because I forget about them for 10 months…and then all of the sudden…there are those girls asking me if I want to buy cookies! Brilliant!!

  3. oh, tagalongs….they’re good ANY time!!!! but i don’t think london has any gs cookies 🙁 they wouldn’t call them cookies anyway–they’s call them “biscuits”, and that just sounds silly…

  4. Nope, I’m with Pat. While the divine Thin Mints might suffer from Oreo-itis with repeat exposure, I think Samoas have a staying power all to themselves. This post should in no way be seen as critical of Thin Mints, since I can pack them away a full box at a time.

  5. I’m deliberately refraining from this discussion. One of our neighbor’s daughters was selling cookies this year, and Vicky asked me to buy a couple boxes. So here I am with a couple of boxes of Samoas, and Vicky is giving up chocolate as part of Lent.

I’ve lost track of how many times she’s asked if I’m going to bring them to work. Uhm, yeah… yummy cookies will never make it off my desk or see the sun set on a day.
